Over 80 Years of Experience
AJ Glassfibre was founded in 1999 by Andrew Mallinson and John Irving, bringing together over 80 years of industry experience. Starting in Pudsey, the business quickly grew and relocated to Castleford, Yorkshire, where it now operates across two modern manufacturing sites.
Built on honest values, a strong work ethic, and quality workmanship, AJ Glassfibre has grown into a trusted UK manufacturer, with a proven record of long-term customer partnerships spanning more than three decades.
A Family Business, Built on Experience
In 2014, John retired, and in 2022, Andrew passed day-to-day leadership to the next generation – his children, Oliver and Katie.
Having first gained valuable skills in other industries and in further education, they then worked their way up from the shop floor to understand every aspect of the business – working there in the school holidays from a young age also helped!
Their hands-on experience, combined with decades of family knowledge, ensures customers receive a reliable, personal service backed by real expertise.
